MAcc:
The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree prepares students for careers in the profession as well as satisfying eligibility requirements for the Certified Public Accountant's Examination (CPA Exam) in the State of Georgia. The MAcc allows students to continue their studies in the accounting area, specializing in either the Audit/Systems field or in the Taxation field. Also available for qualified UGA BBA-Accounting students is the Five-Year (BBA/MAcc) Program. This is an "early enrollment" program available only to currently enrolled UGA accounting majors that allows admission during the student's senior year. The student completes the BBA and MAcc degree requirements simultaneously.
