Committee for Graduate Recruitment and Retention
The objective of this committee is to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the recruitment and retention of graduate students, particularly those who self-identify with a group that has been historically underrepresented in higher education.
The committee also serves to build networks and collaborative opportunities across academic units and university offices. These efforts include, but are not limited to, the discussion of funding opportunities for graduate students and improving graduate programs and the successful matriculation of their students.
This committee is composed of volunteer representatives from multiple academic units and university offices across UGA campus(es).
