![]() Graduate Student Association Welcome ReceptionWednesday, August 8, 2012 Bus Tour of Campus The Graduate Student Association (GSA) has arranged for Campus Transit to provide a bus tour of campus immediately following the Information Fair; the buses will pick up the students at the Classic Center at 11:15 a.m. and drop them off at Miller Learning Center. Welcome Reception The Graduate Student Association (GSA) will host a welcome free lunch reception for all incoming graduates students immediately following the Orientation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. in the Rotunda (4th floor) of the Miller Learning Center (MLC). Students must have a ticket to receive lunch. Tickets will be free and available at the GSA table at the information fair.
GTA and GLA OrientationThursday, August 9, 2012 All new graduate teaching and laboratory assistants who will have instructional responsibilities during 2012-2013 academic year are required to attend the Orientation for Graduate Teaching and Laboratory Assistants. This includes laboratory and teaching assistants as well as other in graduate student classifications who will be serving as instructors. In addition, returning GTAs and GLAs are welcome to attend the sessions of interest to them. GAPS Official Orientation and WelcomeThursday, August 9, 2012 Graduate and Professional Scholars (GAPS) will hold its official Orientation and Welcome on Thursday evening. Come and find out who the Graduate and Professional Scholars are and what the organization does while socializing with GAPS members, faculty, and staff. Additional social activities are planned for students on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and in the following weeks. More information about these events will be available at the reception.
