That's me in the spotlight

In March, R.E.M. was inducted into the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York,
cementing Athens’ reputation as the
“Liverpool of the South”. R.E.M. members
either attended or worked at UGA. By
1987, the band rocketed from college
circuit fame to mainstream acclaim. We
know, it’s only rock and roll, but we like it.
