On June 24th, the Graduate School will open at our new location:

279 Williams St

The Graduate School is moving! To facilitate the move, our offices at 320 E. Clayton Street will close at 5:00 pm on Thursday, June 13. The Graduate School will reopen on Monday, June 24, at 8:00 am in our new location, 279 Williams Street.

Between June 13 and June 24, the Graduate School staff will not be able to process paperwork or respond to questions in person, by phone, or by email because all files and computers will be packed and moved to the new offices.

All forms are accessible through the website, and paperwork can be sent to the Graduate School through campus mail. All mail will be opened and processed beginning June 24.

The deadline to submit a Program of Study or Advisory Committee form for Summer Graduation has been extended to June 24.

University of Georgia researchers receive $2 million from the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Energy to speed biofuel development by studying the importance of plant proteins in woody plants. The researchers may be able to accelerate wood growth and make the trees more drought resistant.
